Seventh Generation Paper Towels Natural 2 Ply Sheets Pack of 30 Amazon Frustration Free Packaging

Seventh Generation Recycled Paper Towels absorb spills quickly and work hard, even when wet. These thick and thirsty towels are also lint-free, making them a perfect choice for cleaning windows and other reflective surfaces. And they are made from 100% recycled paper, with a minimum of 80% post-consumer materials, making them the right choice for the environment.

Made from 100% Recycled Chlorine-Free Paper
By choosing Seventh Generation Recycled Paper Towels, you’ll be making an important environmental difference immediately. These paper towels are not whitened with chlorine and are made from 100% recycled paper (80% post-consumer, 20% pre-consumer). Hypo-allergenic, unbleached, strong and absorbent, these towels will help you keep your home and the environment clean.

Post-consumer paper is paper that has been recycled at home or at the office. Buying post-consumer paper helps finish the job you started–of saving the earth’s natural resources, including trees, water, and energy. And using products made from post-consumer recycled materials helps reduce the need for virgin wood pulp, which means more trees are left standing. Trees naturally absorb carbon dioxide–a greenhouse gas that’s the primary contributor to global warming. In fact, a single tree, over its lifetime, absorbs about one tone of CO2. To put it another way, a ton of recycled paper saves seventeen trees.

If every household in the U.S. replaced just one roll of 120 sheet virgin fiber paper towels with 100% recycled ones, we could save: 1 million trees, 2.6 million cubic feet of landfill space (equal to over 3,800 full garbage trucks), 367 million gallons of water (a year’s supply for 2,800 families of four), and avoid 38,000 tons of pollution. And because these towels are unbleached and have not been treated with chlorine, you can safely compost them in your garden when you’re done using them.

User Ratings and Reviews

1 Star WORST paper towels
I ordered these because I appreciate the idea of using recycled paper, however, these are the absolutely worst paper towels I’ve ever tried. They are not very absorbent, so you wind up using a lot more than you would with any other brand. And you feel like you are just moving water around. And they are rough.

I was trying to be environmentally friendly, but it is not good for the environment that I had to use three to four paper towels in the place of one.

1 Star Lousy shipping
The box was left on my back porch in the rain with no bag over it. The entire thing fell apart when I tried to move it. This was after I happened to look out and see it, as no notice was left at the front door alerting me to its presence. There comes a point at which free shipping is not worth it.

And, did you know that the plastic they use to individually wrap the rolls isn’t waterproof? I DO.

I’m cancelling my regular order immediately. What a kick in the teeth.

4 Stars good alternative
I like buying products that is earth friendly and this is an OK product, just not as fluffy and absorbent as the regular store brands.

1 Star what green does not mean
I am very unhappy with Seventh Generation Paper products. I like that paper products decompose, but I would prefer that the paper starts to decompose after I use it. I have had problems with all of their paper products, especially the napkins. After I used Seventh Generation Napkins at a picnic, my hands and mouth were covered with small pieces of paper. Normally a picnic napkin will last the whole meal. A Seventh Generation napkin will not even survive one wipe. Maybe they accidently switched the toilet paper formula with the napkins. I have decided to stop using all Seventh Generation products to send the message that hiding under the umbrella “green” is not license to produce garbage.

4 Stars Wish I still used these
These are overall great – work well for most uses, can go in your compost bin after use if not used with chemicals, and are recycled. I agree with the reviewer who wishes they were scored like the Brawny towels. I rarely use these now though as we got cloth napkins, and use cloth rags for most cleaning, but if you like the convenience of paper they are very useful.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars I love these diapers
I have 4 children, 4, 3, 2, and newborn and I used to do cloth diapers for 3 of them. Needless to say I am a little busy for cloth diapers. I am so thankful that there is a chemical and dye free alternative. I love these diapers and have never had a problem with leaks. I read several of the reviews on them and some complained of leaks, not for us. I highly recommend that you at least try these diapers.

5 Stars BEST DIAPERS!
i have used these diapers since my daughter was 2 months old and love them! they are not cardboardy and don’t leak like other natural diapers. you won’t find them cheaper than amazon if you sign up for the subscribe & save program.

5 Stars My Favorite Diapers
First and foremost, I love that these diapers are brown and that they don’t any of that advertising junk or characters all over them; just diapers, plain and simple. I have heard that some people have had problems with leaking, but I never have had any leakage with these diapers. They fit snugly and securely and the tabs stick very well.

5 Stars Love 7th Gen diapers!
Great product. Our 9 month old has been in these since day 1.

They never leak. No complaints!!

3 Stars Size 3 runs small
The waist size on the size 3 diapers seem smaller than size 3 huggies. My son is about 20 pounds–well within the 16-28 pound limit–but these diapers are tight around the waist. They also seem bulkier in the front compared to huggies and pampers and not as well-designed. Not sure if I will buy these again although I like that they are chlorine-free.

Seventh Generation Baby Wipes Refills Chlorine Free and Unscented 70 Count Packs Pack of 12 840 Wipes

Unscented, extra thick Baby Wipes by Seventh Generation are moistened with gentle aloe vera and water, not irritating alcohol. Just one does the job of 2-3 ordinary wipes. Bleached with hydrogen peroxide and chlorine dioxide, both much less harmful than chlorine. 70 unscented wipes per pack. 12 Pack Case (840 wipes total). Made in the USA.

User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars stealth reduction in size and number
Although I have found these wipes successful for both of my kids – it is disconcerting when the manufacturer reduces the size and quantity and keeps the same price. The smaller quantity will actually increase packaging and decrease the environmental benefits associated with buying refills instead of the full dispenser. The reduction in quantity and size equates with an approximate 15% reduction in material for the same price!

4 Stars Great wipes
I do really like these wipes. I have used them for over 3 years on both of my kids. The only complaint I have is that they just reduced the amount of wipes per package, and made these smaller. So, you are getting less for your money. The price has gone up a bit, too.

2 Stars They changed! For the worst…..too dry now… :(
We have been using these wipes forever and used to love them! Recently the packaging has changed and they now have LESS wipes and they are SO DRY! We used to love these. There is hardly any moisture now. I dont know what has happened to these but I do know that if they dont change soon we are on the hunt for different ones. Such a bummer……

4 Stars Happy and sad
I was excited to find the Seventh Generation Baby Wipes at a great price on Amazon when I started using them back in 2008. I only wanted the best for my baby. But, over time the price has gone up and the amount of wipes per package has gone down. These are great wipes but I cancled my subscription and am upset with Seventh Generation. I would have given 5 stars otherwise but as they continue to change that continues to go down.

2 Stars Too small, and very dry!
I wish I had taken the advice of other reviewers before purchasing an entire case of these! I had barely gotten over the pain of having to return a case of the Nature Babycare wipes (chemical ingredient concerns that I didn’t notice until after ordering). The 7th Gen wipes are smaller than most other wipes and quite dry no matter where you are in the stack or how you store them. I had to use twice as many just to get the job done. **Beware of having to pay return shipping costs!! It really cuts into your refund. Perhaps buying a single pack somewhere to try them first would be advised. Hopefully, the Earth’s Best reviews hold up and we’ll have found our wipe to stick with. Cheers! And good luck!

5 Stars Seventh Generation Training pants
Fit my daughter great. Love ordering from amazon and having them delivered to my door.

5 Stars Great purchase…highly recommended
My daughter has a dye sensitivity which causes severe rashes. These are a godsend. They are slightly thicker than pull ups but don’t leak at all, even overnight.

5 Stars If you still need pull-ups for your 6 year old, they might as well be these
My older two kids both still wet the bed at night. One is 3.5, one just turned 6. This size of these Pull-ups fit them both (they are just on either side of 40 pounds). I like them because I find the smell once they are wet to be much less offensive than other brands, and I prefer their manufacturing methods (no chlorine, etc). I use cloth diapers when the kid are babies, and I have tried unsuccessfully to use cloth training pants for the older ones at night, but since it hasn’t worked for various reasons, these feel like a good compromise for our family. They never leak!

5 Stars Worth Every Penny
My favorite thing about Seventh Generation Diapers and Pullups is that when they are wet, they don’t stink like other diapers do. I have a sensitive sense of smell, and could practically smell my daughter a mile away when she was wearing the other type. These are very absorbent, environmentally responsible and GOOD DIAPERS. I also appreciate the more organic color– not bleached white– and the fact that they never have cartoon characters on them. We have these shipped regularly, and it is so easy!

5 Stars Safer alternative for less than the leading brand
I’m in a phase where transforming my home into a healthier environment has become very important to me. The saying “what you don’t know won’t hurt you” applied to me for many years, but once I became a mother and learned the effects of harmful chemicals in our everyday products, I made the choice to change what I could, one step at a time. My husband doesn’t care so much for it and that makes the transition a little difficult, especially if what I intend to buy is going to cost 2-3 times more than the generic walmart brand. Fortunately, I don’t give up quite easily and I do extensive research to win the argument. To win, I have to find a bargain… price is all he cares about. So while I know that buying something that will be shipped will causes emissions, Walmart has their stuff shipped to them anyway. When I buy the 7th generation diapers here for the subscription price, I pay just $1 more for the entire package, including shipping, over the generic walmart brand, and $3-6 less than the popular brands.

These hold up well overnight if my son doesn’t sleep in late, and are perfect for disposable needs.

Seventh Generation Liquid Laundry 2x Ultra Concentrate Blue Eucalyptus and Lavender 32 Ounce Bottles Pack of 6

Seventh Generation Liquid Laundry 2x Ultra Concentrate Blue Eucalyptus and Lavender 32 Ounce Bottles Pack of 6

Seventh Generation 2X Laundry Concentrate is tough on dirt but gentle on your clothes and the environment. This non-toxic, biodegradable, and phosphate-free laundry concentrate is specially formulated for high-efficiency and standard machines and features a naturally derived and gentle blue eucalyptus and lavender scent.

Completely Natural Cleaning Power for Your Clothes
Seventh Generation 2X Laundry Concentrate is tough on dirt and stains, while being completely free of phosphates, optical brighteners, bleach and other ingredients that are harmful for your and your environment. This concentrate is made from a low-foaming blend of naturally derived cleaning agents (coconut-derived surfactants, glycerin), natural water softeners, alkalinity builders, and anti-redeposition agents (sodium citrate, borax), non-animal-derived enzymes to remove protein and starch stains and protect fabrics, plant-derived anti-foaming agents (glycerol monooleate, oleic acid), and cleaning enhancers (calcium chloride).

Non-toxic, hypo-allergenic, biodegradable, and Kosher-certified, Seventh Generation 2X Laundry Concentrate is completely phosphate- and dye-free, is safe for septic and greywater systems, and has never been tested on animals.

What’s Wrong with Phosphates and Optical Brighteners
Phosphates are natural minerals that, when used in detergents, can reduce water hardness, which allows the detergent’s soap to clean more effectively, and prevent dirt from being redeposited back onto the items being cleaned. However, once the phosphates are released back into the environment via household wastewater, the results can be disastrous to the environment.

Phosphates encourage algae growth, which directly leads to a decrease in the oxygen supply in water ways–a situation that can ultimately leads to the deaths of living organisms, and eventually the entire waterway.

Similarly, optical brighteners have long been used to clean our laundry. They help mask any yellowing that may be present in the treated material and makes the material seem brighter and whiter than it would otherwise naturally appear to the eye by creating an enhanced “whiter-than-white” surface that doesn’t get clothes any cleaner but simply makes them look that way.

Many of the chemicals in optical brighteners, however, are toxic to fish and other aquatic life, are slow to degrade, and can cause mutations in bacteria. And in terms of human health, exposure to optical brighteners, which remain on laundry by design, can cause eye irritations and skin reactions in sensitive individuals.

Why Clean Naturally?
Unlike many conventional laundry concentrates detergents, the Seventh Generation 2X Laundry Concentrate does not create unpleasant fumes, will not leave harmful residues, and is safer for the environment. Plant-derived cleaners are made from renewable resources rather than from petroleum. Studies show that making household cleaners from plant-derived materials uses less energy than making the same cleaners from petroleum. Using less energy helps reduce emissions of greenhouse gases.

If every household in the U.S. replaced just one bottle of 50-ounce 2X petroleum-based liquid laundry detergent with the Seventh Generation 2X Laundry Concentrate, we could save 233,000 barrels of oil, enough to heat and cool 13,400 U.S. homes for a year! Additionally, thousands of tons of phosphates and other harmful chemicals will be removed from our ecosystem.

Also, concentrated laundry detergents come with great environmental benefits. Each bottle of 2X concentrated detergent is half the size of a bottle of regular laundry detergent and washes the same number of loads. In addition to requiring less fuel to ship the detergent to you, the entire manufacturing process is more efficient–using less water, less packaging, and less fuel.

The Right (Natural) Fragrance for your Home
Our sense of smell is powerful and evocative. Experiencing a scent unfold can transform our mood, transport us to distant places, or connect us through a shared experience. When you use natural cleaners, not only do you care for the health of the environment, you also care for the health of the people in your home. The scents in Seventh Generation household cleaners are created from whole and natural plant essences, and let you clean without harsh or unpleasant chemicals and odors.

Blue Eucalyptus and Lavender is a gentle scent that infuses a sense of energy and accomplishment–leaving your clothes smelling purely clean. It is made with a blend of eucalyptus, lavender, and pine whole plant essences.

About Seventh Generation

User Ratings and Reviews

1 Star Expensive “tie dye”
After reading the reviews, I realized that my beautiful new pima cotton pajamas were “tie dyed” by this detergent and that I hadn’t done anything wrong with the washing instructions!

I wasn’t impressed by the efficacy of this product, AND to now know that it also ruins clothing!!?? I just purchased and have yet to wash a couple of new dark colored pima cotton jerseys, and I am SO THANKFUL that I read these reviews before putting them in a wash with a Seventh Generation detergent.

I will reserve the remainder of this product for my whites only and not buy this product in the future.

1 Star Doesn’t get clothes clean
Since there is no added fragrance, it is easy to tell that sweaty clothes still smell after I pull them out of the wash. It also doesn’t seem to get simple stains out of fabric, so our dish towels look like they have never been washed and dirt stays on the cuffs of trousers.

1 Star Broken Bottles
When we received the product two of the containers were broken open and all over the contents of the box. The deal is not very good when you loose two bottles in transport.

5 Stars Seventh Generation Free & Clear
Seventh Generation products are outstanding!!! They do exactly what they are advertized to do AND they are environmentally friendly. The Free and Clear products are scent free as well. Just can’t ask for more than that, but Amazon gives it to you anyways. Discounts and free shipping right to my door, when you subscribe to this item. It costs more for me to drive to the local market and buy ths product than to have Amazon deliver it. I’m one totally satisfied customer!

5 Stars Excellent Laundry Detergent
Something’s a little strange with the number of 1-star reviews of this product. I’ve been using 7th Generation laundry detergent (and fabric softener, glass cleaner, and dishwashing detergent) for over a year. I have never noticed any fabric fading as a result of using this laundry detergent. On the contrary, clothes come out looking and smelling clean. I have three kids so it’s not as if I am only laundering clothes that are already mostly clean. Our kids play multiple sports and their clothes are heavily soiled. At the time of this writing here’s the rating distribution: twenty 5 stars, six 4 stars, two 3 stars, two 2 stars, and eleven 1 stars. Note the upward distribution of reviews when considering 2 to 5 star ratings – it is statistically unusual to have so many 1 star ratings with this otherwise high rating distribution. Frankly, I question the authenticity of at least some of the 1 star reviews. This product, in my experience, deserves a 5 star rating. By the way, the reason I started using this product was because my mother-in-law is sensitive to fragrance – this laundry detergent passes her chemically-sensitive nose.
